DESCRIPTION:Free for LGcomms members (please log in to book) \nWe’re delighted to be able to invite you to the first of our LGcomms North West regional network meetings (Lancashire\, Cumbria\, Greater Manchester)\, set to be held next month in Blackburn. \nThe session will be held on Wednesday 10 September at Fuse Box (Blackburn Youth Zone)\, Jubilee Street\, Blackburn\, BB1 1EP. \nThe regional networks\, developed by LGcomms provides an important forum for sharing issues\, best practice\, campaigns and briefings from key partners. They’re also an important opportunity to focus on communications challenges which are unique to regions. \nThe agenda: \n1. Opening Remarks \n\n\nAndrea Sturgess – Welcome and introduction of CEO/Leader \n\n\n2. Welcome Address \n\n\nCEO / Leader (10–15 mins) \n\n\n3. LGcomms Overview \n\n\nLGcomms Exec Member (10 mins) \n\n\n4. Food Waste Campaign \n\n\nLowri Davies\, Blackburn with Darwen Council (20 mins) \n\n\n5. The Shuttle Extra Magazine \n\n\nNatalie Banks\, Blackburn with Darwen Council (20 mins) \n\n\n6. Lessons from Essex \n\n\nBell Hotel\, Epping (20 mins) \n\n\n7. Interactive Session: “What’s Keeping You Awake at Night?” \n\n\nUnconference break-out discussions and feedback \n\n\n8. Closing & Next Steps \n\n\nBrief wrap-up \n\n\n  \nArrival time 12.30pm\, start time 1.15/20pm until 4pm and a sandwich lunch will be provided upon arrival. \nParking: Free parking is available for 3 hours at Morrisons (BB1 5BE).
