LGcomms East of England regional network meeting

We are delighted to be able to invite you, as a valued Member, to the first LGcomms East of England regional network meeting.
LGcomms, along with the Local Government Association, has been supporting the creation and development of networks across England and Scotland and this is the latest to be established.
The Networks provide an important forum for sharing issues, best practice, campaigns and briefings from key partners. They are also an important opportunity to focus on communications challenges which are unique to regions.
The first EoE network will feature contributions from Transport East on their current agenda, and also the LGA, who will be highlighting their ‘Make A Difference’ recruitment Campaign.
We would also love to include agenda items from your own council or organisation. If you would like to have an item on the agenda, please email Mark Miller or Caroline Kennedy-Jones copying in hello@lgcomms.org.uk
The venue for the first meeting will be Ipswich Borough Council’s offices at Grafton House, 15-17 Russell Road, Ipswich IP1 2DE, from 10am to 1pm. IBC is a short 5 min walk from the Railway station with ample public parking available nearby. A sandwich lunch will be provided.
We encourage in-person attendance at LGcomms Network meetings, but a hybrid option will be available. A Teams invitation will be sent to those attending online.
