When and where
· LGA, Smith Square, London
· Wednesday 17th September
· 10am to 2pm (including networking lunch)
How we talk about homes in our communities matters. And as we move into an era of more investment in new social homes, it’s more important than ever that we get our communications spot-on.
In this session you’ll hear from Natalie Tate, project lead for Talking about Homes at the JRF, on how we can frame our communications so that we boost community support for building homes.
We’ll discuss how we can:
· Establish common ground and give people a reason to care
· Show why new homes are needed by winning hearts and minds
· Share a vision of the benefits of genuinely affordable homes and strong communities
Natalie’s workshop will be followed by a discussion on the current housing challenges and opportunities for us as communicators, facilitated by Bobbie Hough of Hough Bellis Communications.
The session will end with a networking lunch.
