LGcomms Webinar: Preventing Gambling Harm

In July, 5 London Boroughs shared their Gambling Harm Campaign with 40 councils.

This collaborative approach resulted in:

• 10% increase in calls and chats with Gamcare nationally
• 55% increase in calls in London (16 councils took part)
• 140,000 + landing page visits with 1,000+ referrals and sign ups for more support

Hosted by the LGcomms – Future Comms Team, this collaborative campaign meeting will feature:

• Lived experience and messaging insight from Gambling with Lives
• Research from the Universities of Bristol and Plymouth on messaging and impact
• Insight and learning from phase one of the campaign
• A shared campaign plan and messaging framework for the remainder of FY26/27
