Can you give 6 minutes to support diversity and inclusion in public sector comms?

Three years ago LGcomms carried out the biggest demographic survey of local public sector communicators ever undertaken in the UK.

Its purpose was to understand the experiences of all professional communicators working for local public services up and down the country.

You responded in your hundreds- with the results informing our own diversity and inclusion mission statement, our seminar and Academy programmes and new resources like our inclusive recruitment toolkit.

Now we want to see how things might have changed, three years on.

Are there glass ceilings? Where are they? Who do they affect?

How well does our profession reflect the communities we serve?

Can we better support those from lower income backgrounds to thrive?

Theresults will again be used to support our aim of creating an inclusive future for public sector communications- led by LGcomms diversity working group.

So please take a few minutes to complete this year’s Local Government Communicator Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Survey.

Please submit your response by 11.59pm on Monday 19 May.

Every completed survey will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 high street shopping voucher.
