“Peter Dutton is the Activation Manager for We Are Undefeatable, a behaviour-change campaign which aims to support people living with long term health conditions to be active in a way that works for them and their condition(s). The campaign is developed by 15 leading health and social care charities and is backed by Sport England. Peter works with the We Are Undefeatable’s charity partners and national and local stakeholders to bring the campaign to life in meaningful ways for organisations and professionals across a range of sectors including local government, to support people with health conditions to move more.”

Alison Whittaker-Stewart is the Physical Activity Campaigns Lead for Together an Active Future, one of Sport England’s Place based partners.  Alison has been working alongside Peter, Charlotte and others to co-ordinate and deliver a localised version of the national We Are Undefeatable campaign in Blackburn with Darwen.

Charlotte Pickles is a Public Health Specialist at Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council. She leads on a number of agendas including physical activity and healthy weight.  Blackburn with Darwen is a diverse borough with a range of health challenges including a higher than average number of people living with long term health conditions. The localised version of the We Are Undefeatable campaign is helping to meet the ‘Targeted Interventions to Tackle Health Inequalities’ theme of their Eat Well Move More strategy which aims to enable everyone in Blackburn and Darwen to lead active, healthy and fulfilling lives.
