Information on coronavirus for local government communicators

COVID-19 communications – a council resource from the LGA

The Local Government Association (LGA) has put together a practical resource to support councils to plan for and think strategically about communications and engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic, building on the lessons learned since March 2020.

The LGA’s COVID-19 communications hub covers a wide range of topics – from developing a plan internally and prioritising activity, to planning for local outbreaks.

COVID-19 support and resources from the PRCA

The PRCA’s mission is to provide support and advice to members that ensures they have the knowledge and confidence to deal with the issues relating to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Visit the PRCA hub for webinars, research and information for comms professionals.
